The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA) is one of the flagship programs of the College of Agriculture of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTsP)- Claveria Campus approved through Board Resolution No. 21, Series of 2009.
It is a four-year science and technology-based curriculum for future agriculturists.
Relevant revisions of the curriculum to better equip its graduates for the Licensure Examination for Agriculturist (LEA) was approved by BOT Resolution No. 3 on March 2012.
Moreover, it is recognized and granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as a Center of Development (COD) status by virtue of CHED Memorandum Order No. 38, Series of 2015
The program prepares its graduates for the Licensure Examination for Agriculturist (LEA) and Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Further, after completing two (2) years of the required curriculum, it awards the Certificate of Agriculture Science (CAS) and prepares students for TESDA Skills Assessment for Competency to earn AGRIC CROPS NC I and ANIMAL PRODUCTION NC II and HORTI NC I, respectively. Further, the course offers five areas of specialization for the aggie students to choose based on their interests.
Major fields include: Animal Science, Crop Science, Entrepreneurship, Dairy Science (per BOT Resolution No. 3, S 2012) and Agricultural Education, respectively.
