Master of Science in Agriculture Major in Animal Science


The Masters of Science in Agriculture (MSA is a 2-year graduate degree program specialized in Crop Science and Animal Science. It is designed to advance the knowledge, skills and competency of graduate students in instruction, research, extension and production including the holistic development of professionals working in the academe, government units, non-government organizations and agricultural enterprises.

Graduate students must earn 37 units broken down as follows:

  • 6 units Core Courses
  • 18 units Major Courses
  • 6 units Cognate Course
  • 1 unit Graduate Seminar
  • 6 units Master’s Thesis
  • CHED Delivering Higher Education Institution as Center of Development for Agriculture (COD) per CMO No. 38, s. 2015.
  • AACCUP Accredited Status.
  • Full-pledged PhDs and MS faculty members trained locally and abroad.
