Short Term Courses:
Trainees will pay the training and the internship fees as low as Php 20,000.00 per semester of each course. On the Job Training (OJT) will only be allowed to those who have fully paid the training fees.
Conduct of Training and Classes
This training is tailored to those who are working on weekdays. Classes are conducted at weekends and schedules for OJT is tailored for the convenience of the trainee at his/her own pace. It is however recommended that the 360-hour requirement for OJT be conducted in a 3-day or week-long phases to facilitate in-depth learning experience. Since, it is modular and self-paced, the completion of the training greatly depends on the trainee’s speed and quality of performance.
To complete the six months training, nine modules are taken to orient and refresh the trainees on dairying, their feeds, their houses, their health and the mechanisms of milking. Two modules are added for the one year training and another two modules are added for the two-year training to include artificial insemination and quality assurance.
OJT can only be practiced in dairy farms recognized by the University. To date, there are only two (2) farms being recognized: one in Migbanday, Claveria, Misamis Oriental and in USTP-Claveria Campus Dairy Farm in Lupok, Anei, Claveria, Misamis Oriental.
The trainors are qualified men and women experts in their own field.
Requirements before Graduation
Certificate Issued to Graduates
