USTP CDO Campus and USTP Alumni Federation inks partnership to enable Alumni Career Services

Last July 2021, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was officially forged between the USTP Cagayan de Oro, represented by Atty. Dionel O. Albina, and the USTP Alumni Federation, represented by its president, Mr. Jason Jay Dalman, solidifying the partnership to bring about the Alumni Career Services.

The USTP Cagayan de Oro campus, in collaboration with the Career Center and Industry Relations Office, and the USTP Alumni Federation agreed to create the  Alumni Career Services which will cater to the university alumni by providing them with Professional Enrichment Programs such as but not limited to, Career Development Forums, Job Searching activities, and Networking opportunities so that they can better build their connections. The aim of these services is to also groom and identify alumni who will become career mentors committing  to share and impart their professional insights and opportunities to the student trailblazers of the university.

This initiative, which was spearheaded by the Career Center and Industry Relations Office, was taken not just to address the growing unemployment rate of the country but also to retool our alumni trailblazers so that they continue to be effective in their professional lives as well as address the plan of the Alumni Federation to help those alumni who have a hard time in their careers especially in this time of pandemic.
