FEG joins DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela 2023

On August 23, 2023, twenty-five (25) student leaders from the Future Educator’s Guild (FEG) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Panaon, Misamis Occidental, extended their efforts by preparing the classrooms and school grounds of the Panaon Central School and the Punta Elementary School as part of the Department of Education’s annual Brigada Eskwela, themed “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan.”

The activity calls to ignite the “bayanihan” spirit amongst stakeholders in creating a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning environment for the students. Despite the outpour of heavy rains in the afternoon, the student leaders eagerly continued to help the teachers clean and refurbish their classrooms.

The Future Educator’s Guild is an accredited student governing body of the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) of USTP Panaon. It envisions providing varied experiences and opportunities, empowering BTLEd students’ holistic development.
