Global Innovation in Focus: USTP Oroquieta joins InvENT 2025 for Research and Academic Exchange

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta), remained unwavering in its strong commitment to global academic excellence, innovation, and international collaboration by actively participating in the International Conference on Innovation, Engineering, and Technology (InvENT 2025). The conference, held on July 23–24, 2025, at Limketkai Luxe Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City, was hosted by USTP in partnership with the ASEAN Technological University Network (ATU-Net).

Representing USTP Oroquieta were Mr. Conmar Malmis, Mrs. Maria Liberty Doncillo, and Engr. Mitchie Roa, Mrs. Jubilee Dagaang, Ms. Maila Asim, and Ms. Marevel Caburnay. Notably, two faculty members shared their research contributions during the conference: Engr. Mitchie Roa presented a paper on sustainability, while Ms. Marevel Caburnay presented a study focused on innovation in education. Their active participation reflects the university’s strong support for faculty engagement in cutting-edge research and knowledge-sharing on an international platform.

The InvENT2025 conference provided an avenue for faculty professional growth and collaboration, aligning with USTP’s broader mission to enhance global competitiveness through research, innovation, and international partnerships.
