In its ongoing commitment to promoting health and wellness among faculty, staff, and students, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria (USTP Claveria) has launched weekly Zumba exercise sessions held every Friday, beginning March 7, 2025, in front of the Administration Building.

Organized by the Office of Human Resource Management, this weekly activity aims to support professional development, encourage physical fitness, and foster camaraderie among university personnel. The sessions are facilitated by Mr. Jozen Tagaylo, an experienced Zumba and Physical Education (PE) Instructor from the College of Arts and Sciences at USTP Claveria. Each session offers a vibrant and energetic atmosphere where participants engage in a dynamic mix of dance and aerobic exercises.

USTP Claveria remains dedicated to providing a holistic campus environment that supports both academic excellence and the overall well-being of its community. This initiative aligns with the university’s mission to cultivate a healthy and dynamic campus culture.

The Zumba sessions are open to all USTP Claveria faculty and staff, reinforcing the value of regular physical activity in achieving a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
