Kahamili Awards 2025: USTP CDO honors Outstanding Leadership and Service

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro (USTP CDO) successfully held the Kahamili Awards 2025, themed “Leading with Flexibility, Standing with Integrity,” on June 23, 2025, at the Dr. Ricardo E. Rotoras (DRER) Memorial Hall, USTP CDO. The event recognized student leaders, organizations, and mentors who have shaped the USTP community through their dedication, passion, and service.

The event also featured SAULOG 2025, honoring the achievements of outgoing student organizations while highlighting student leaders’ growth, leadership, unity, and excellence. It also included an oath-taking ceremony for newly elected student leaders and officers.
During SAULOG 2025, Hon. Rave M. Arao, the outgoing president of the USTP CDO University Student Government and the current president of the Federation of USTP Student Councils, delivered his State of the Student Government Address (SOSGA). In his speech, he reflected on the major achievements of his term and demonstrated how student-centered leadership can create a meaningful impact.

Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II, USTP System President, opened the Kahamili Awards 2025 with an inspiring message, stressing the importance of believing in student leaders as voices of change and as lifters of others.

The major highlight of the event was the awarding ceremony, which recognized the student leaders, organizations, and mentors of the USTP CDO community.
