A tour at the Misamis Oriental Agriculture Complex with the stakeholders
The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Claveria, Misamis Oriental partners with the local government of the Municipality of Claveria and other stakeholders in a round table discussion on agriculture.

Farming is the main industry of Claveria and is the main source of vegetables, crops, coffee, bamboo and mushrooms in the region. Other stakeholders in the round table discussion are the Provincial Agriculturists Office (PAGRO) of Misamis Oriental, Department of Agriculture (DA) and Department of Science and Technology (DOST).

The round table discussion aims to strengthen agriculture in the area, identify problems in the farming sector, and find possible solutions.

USTP Claveria is setting up the Agropolis Science and Technology Park, and an agriculture and food innovation hub.
The activity was conducted at the Misamis Oriental Agriculture Complex in Barangay Ane-I, Claveria, Misamis Oriental. Claveria is the only land locked municipality in the province and has also the largest in land area.
