Team CyberBabies of USTP Alubijid secures 2nd place in DICT Hack4Gov 2025 capture-the-flag challenge

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental (USTP Main Campus – Alubijid) proudly celebrates the success of Team CyberBabies, who secured 2nd Place in the Hack4Gov 2025: Capture-The-Flag (CTF) Regional Competition organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology Region 10 (DICT-10) on November 10, 2025, at the Chali Beach Resort, Brgy. Cugman, Cagayan de Oro City.
As part of the nationwide Hack4Gov initiative, this competition brought together 12 schools from Northern Mindanao to test their cybersecurity skills through various real-world digital challenges. These included cryptography, network forensics, web exploitation, and reverse engineering.
Team CyberBabies from USTP Alubijid showcased remarkable technical skills, collaboration, and critical thinking during the competition. The team consisted of:
