USTP Alubijid, CMU conduct Machine Learning Extension Project for BJMP-X

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Alubijid, Misamis Oriental (USTP Alubijid) partnered with the Central Mindanao University (CMU) College of Information Sciences and Computing in the conduct of a 2-day extension project entitled Machine Learning in Data-Driven Decision Making, Phase 1: ML High-level Overview and Data Visualization, on March 18–19, 2024, at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office – X (BJMPRO – X) Multipurpose Hall, F. Delima St., Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City.

The project aims to equip the BJMP Region 10 administrators with a comprehensive understanding of machine learning concepts and applications. The project also includes potential benefits for fostering the ability to make informed decisions regarding the strategic integration of machine learning technologies within their respective domains.

The activity is not just a step forward, but a leap toward a more efficient, effective, and human justice system by embracing the power of data, for within it lies the potential to transform lives and uphold justice.
