USTP CDO programs attain AACCUP level III and IV accreditation

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro (USTP CDO) proudly announces that three of its graduate programs the Master in Educational Planning and Administration, PhD in Educational Planning and Administration, and MS in Teaching Mathematics Education from the College of Science Technology and Education (CSTE) have officially obtained Level IV Re-accreditation from the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. These programs excelled across all evaluation areas, demonstrating competence in research, graduate performance, community service, international linkages, and the planning process.

This honored certification is valid for five years, effective from August 16, 2025, to August 15, 2030. Additionally, the Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS Arch) program, offered by the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), has successfully achieved Level III Reaccreditation. This Level III status is a resounding affirmation of the program’s commitment to sustained excellence, signifying that it has moved beyond regional recognition to demonstrate a strong, visible commitment to advanced academic standards, research productivity, and community engagement.

AACCUP has also recently announced the accreditation of several programs. Notably, the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the College of Engineering and Architecture has achieved Level IV accreditation following a thorough evaluation. This program excelled in various areas, demonstrating consistent high performance and proving its ability to meet and exceed expectations. This distinguished certification is valid for five years, from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2030.

Additionally, several other programs have obtained Level III re-accreditation, including the Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in Science and the Ph.D. in Mathematical Science with a major in Applied Mathematics from the College of Science, Technology, and Education (CSTE). The Bachelor of Science in Technology Communication Management from the College of Information Technology and Computing (CITC) and the Master’s programs in Engineering, specializing in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics Engineering from the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), also received this accreditation. This Level III certification is valid for four years, effective from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2029.

This achievement underscores USTP’s commitment to maintaining high educational standards and reflects its dedication to providing quality education to its students.
