USTP CDO Senior High celebrates Class of 2025’s remarkable journey

The Senior High School Department of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro (USTP CDO) held The Cosmic Gala: Seniors’ Night 2025 on May 30, 2025, at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, Cagayan de Oro. The event was designed to celebrate not only the achievements of the graduating class of 2025 but also the remarkable journey they shared together.
As the doors opened and students arrived in their finest attire, the atmosphere filled with elegance, pride, and emotion. The graduating class of 2025 walked into the ballroom not only as individuals dressed in glamour but also as a united community, bonded by shared experiences, triumphs, and the challenges that had shaped them.
The Senior High School Department looked on with pride and admiration, witnessing firsthand the transformation of students who had grown into young adults ready to face the world beyond the classroom. The evening was filled with heartfelt moments—laughter over old memories, hugs shared in gratitude, and even quiet tears as classmates prepared to part ways.
Atty. Dionel O. Albina, Chancellor of USTP CDO, personally congratulated the Grade 12 students on completing their SHS journey, recognizing it as one of the most important phases of their lives.
Dr. Maria Cecilia L. Pangan, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services of the USTP System, added, “You are entering a universe of opportunity, where you will not only discover what you can do, but who you can become.”
Amid the celebration, a deep sense of gratitude echoed throughout the room. The department extends its heartfelt thanks to the dedicated faculty, tireless staff, and ever-supportive parents who stood beside the students through every late night, every exam, and every milestone. Their guidance and encouragement played a vital role in shaping the graduates into who they are today.
As the night came to a close, the Class of 2025 left not just with diplomas on the horizon, but with full hearts, unbreakable bonds, and dreams ready to take flight.
Dr. Grace S. Pimentel, Principal of the Senior High School and Dean of the College of Science and Technology Education at USTP CDO, closed the program with a heartfelt message: “Tonight was a constellation of efforts, and because of you, it shines. Graduates, the sky is not the limit — it is just the beginning.”
