USTP celebrates alumni homecoming through CELEBRAR 2025

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental (USTP CDO) proudly celebrated Celebrar 2025, its annual Alumni Grand Homecoming, on December 20, 2025, at the Dr. Ricardo E. Rotoras (DRER) Memorial Hall, USTP CDO. The event honored the exemplary journeys and achievements of alumni across the USTP system, highlighting their continued contributions to the university and society.
Celebrar 2025 featured inspiring stories of success, milestones, and progress shared by USTP alumni. Key activities included the presentation of the Alumni Association Financial Report and the election of the new Board of Officers for the upcoming term. This event also featured jump-packed games with prizes and raffles, all contributing to the festive and meaningful gathering.
Engr. Ruel M. Baron, President of the Alumni Association of USTP Cagayan de Oro (USTPAA-CDO), delivered the welcome address, during which he presented the Alumni Association’s accomplishments and emphasized its milestones and ongoing initiatives. Ms. Nadine Ellaine Ellero, Treasurer – USTPAA CDO, followed with the presentation of the 2025 Financial Report.
As part of the program, Ms. Abel Bersabal, Secretary of the USTP Alumni Association Commission on Elections, formally introduced the newly elected members of the USTP Alumni Association Board of Officers, marking the start of their term from 2026 to 2029.
