On August 3, 2022, the USTP Claveria Agroforestry Department met via Zoom with the members from the Professional Regulatory Board of Foresters (PRBF) and the representatives of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region 10. The main agenda of the said meeting revolved on the Bachelor of Science in Agroforestry (BSAF) Program relative to its Policies, Standards, and Guidelines (PSG) on the pipeline of implementation along with its Professional Regulatory Law (PRL) for the professionalization of Agroforestry.

Graduates of USTP Claveria’s BSAF program from previous years, this year, and the years to come before the implementation of its PSG-PRL can still take the Forester Licensure Examination (FLE) through the facilitation of the Agroforestry Department of the College of Agriculture.

Moreover, graduates of BSAF who are interested to take the FLE this coming October 2022 may ahead of time seek assistance from the College of Agriculture or its Agroforestry Department so that they will be facilitated to request for approval from the PRBF before applying for FLE at the nearest PRC in their region. Deep review for those who wish to take the FLE was also highly encouraged.
