USTP Claveria commences 2-Day QMS Awareness Seminar on a Strong Note

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) successfully commenced Day 1 of its Quality Management System (QMS) Awareness Seminar on April 15, 2025, aimed at equipping university personnel with vital knowledge on ISO 9001:2015.
The first day of the seminar proved to be highly productive and engaging as participants immersed themselves in learning the principles and framework of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. The sessions provided a solid foundation for understanding the core elements of a quality management system, emphasizing continual improvement, customer satisfaction, and organizational efficiency.
Attendees expressed enthusiasm for the seminar’s value in supporting USTP’s commitment to quality service and institutional excellence.“This is a big step in ensuring that our processes align with global standards. We’re now more prepared to strengthen our QMS implementation,” one participant shared.
On the second day, participants remained motivated to dive deeper into the applications of the ISO standard, with a collective goal of pushing further and aiming higher in the pursuit of quality and innovation.
The QMS Awareness Seminar is a vital initiative under USTP’s institutional development programs, strengthening the university’s readiness for future certifications and accreditations.
