USTP Claveria DHM faculty join UTHP research conference in Palawan

Dr. Marlo T. Blane, Department Head of Hospitality Management, together with DHM faculty members Sheree Ann S. Mopos, Sheena Mae D. Rubin, and Queenie Dawn B. Obsioma of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), participated in the United Tourism & Hospitality Professionals (UTHP) International Research Conference, General Membership Meeting, and CSR Activity 2026 on March 18-20, 2026, at the Costa Palawan, Puerto Princesa City.
The three-day event gathered educators, researchers, and industry practitioners under the theme “Upholding Tourism & Hospitality Progress: Strengthening Networks, Advancing Research, and Driving Purposeful CSR Initiatives.”
During the conference, USTP Claveria DHM faculty actively engaged in research presentations, academic discussions, and networking activities with fellow professionals and experts in the field. The event served as a platform to exchange ideas, promote sustainable tourism practices, and strengthen collaboration among institutions and industry stakeholders.
