USTP Claveria participates in the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Dril

The faculty, staff, students, and key officials of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), under the supervision of Ms. Fides Joy N. Pabua, Head of the USTP Claveria Incident Management Team (IMT) Head, and with the Campus Security Safety Unit (CSSU) headed by SG Pedro Cagas, participated in the conduct of the First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2025 on March 13, 2025.
The NSED is conducted quarterly. Its primary goal is to enhance the public’s preparedness for earthquakes. It aims to instill the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” Protocol and practice evacuation procedures. Ultimately, it seeks to build a culture of preparedness and resilience among the USTP community.
