The total contract amount is ₱270,585.00.
The milk distribution is part of the 15-day feeding cycle of the School-Based Feeding Program, which aims to improve the nutrition of undernourished learners in public elementary schools.
As part of the implementation, the USTP Claveria Gatas 955 Milk Processing Plant team successfully delivered and distributed fresh milk to several elementary schools in Claveria, Misamis Oriental, including Mat-i Elementary School in Barangay Mat-i, Patrocinio Elementary School in Barangay Patrocinio, and Claveria Central School.
The initiative forms part of the broader nutrition program of DepEd aimed at addressing malnutrition among schoolchildren by providing healthy and nutritious food and milk products during the feeding days.
Through this collaboration, both the Department of Education and USTP Claveria continue to strengthen their commitment to improving the health and well-being of learners while supporting locally produced milk from the university’s milk processing facility.
