USTP Claveria pays tribute to the 2025 College of Engineering and Technology graduates

In a celebration marked by joy, pride, and heartfelt reflection, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) College of Engineering and Technology (CET) held a memorable Tribute to the graduands for the Class of 2025 at USTP Admin Building, 3rd Floor, USTP Claveria, on July 31, 2025. Honoring their academic journey and personal growth. With the theme, “Empowered Graduands, Emerging Leaders: Shaping Smarter, Stronger Tomorrow,” the event brought together faculty and students to recognize the accomplishments of the graduating class, many of whom have overcome great challenges to reach this significant milestone.
Graduands from various academic programs were recognized during the event, including those from the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, and Bachelor of Food Processing and Technology.
A major highlight of the ceremony was awarding the Latin honors to outstanding students who achieved exceptional academic standing. This year, CET proudly recognized 1 Summa Cum Laude, 9 as Magna Cum Laude, and 38 as Cum Laude. In addition to these academic recognitions, several special awards were presented, such as the CET Leadership Award, College Service Award, Literary Arts Award, Athlete of the Year, Best in Thesis/Capstone Project, and Dean’s List Recognition.
Dr. Renato O. Arazo, Chancellor of USTP Claveria, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing that graduates should live with purpose and choose to live like a champion. Mr. Glen Mark O. Salvana, this year’s Class Valedictorian, delivered a heartfelt speech that echoed the journey they had all taken together—filled with sacrifice, discovery, sleepless nights, and small victories that built toward this day of triumph.
This tribute served not only as a recognition of academic success but also as a rite of passage—a symbolic farewell to student life and a warm welcome into the world of professionals, leaders, and changemakers. For the graduates of 2025, it was more than a ceremony. It was a celebration of growth, courage, and the limitless possibilities that lie ahead.
