USTP Claveria relocates College of Agriculture Laboratories to New Facility

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) has officially relocated its laboratories of the College of Agriculture (CA) to a new facility at the 3rd Building of the USTP Claveria, effective on June 18, 2025. The upgraded laboratory is now fully operational, featuring modern infrastructure and equipment to improve instruction, research, and community outreach.

Dr. Charly G. Alcantara, Dean of the College of Agriculture, said the relocation aims to provide a safer and more efficient environment for students and faculty.
Dr. Renato O. Arazo, Chancellor of USTP Claveria, highlighted the importance of providing students with a state-of-the-art learning environment. The new laboratory is also expected to host outreach programs and activities in partnership with local farmers and stakeholders.
All agriculture students, faculty, and researchers are encouraged to visit the new facility and become familiar with it. The importance of adhering to standard laboratory protocols is also emphasized to ensure both safety and efficiency.
