USTP Claveria showcases unity and community commitment in civic military parade

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), joined the Claveria Civic Military Parade during its fiesta celebration on February 10, 2026. The event highlighted unity, culture, and public service. Leading the university contingent is Dr. Renato O. Arazo, Chancellor of USTP Claveria, who marched alongside university officials, faculty members, and non-teaching staff.
Carrying the university’s banners and official colors, the delegation marched in disciplined formation, symbolizing the institution’s dedication to excellence in instruction, research, and extension services. The participation of USTP Claveria also reflects the vital role of higher education institutions in fostering responsible citizenship and contributing to both local and national development. Through its involvement in community activities such as the civic parade, the university continues to strengthen its partnership with the local government and other key stakeholders.
Spectators lined the streets, enthusiastically cheering and capturing photos as the USTP Claveria delegation passed by, adding to the significance and festive atmosphere of the event. The civic parade demonstrated the collective spirit and shared identity of the Claveria community.
