USTP Claveria strengthens innovation edge with RegenSeed team’s Demo Day 2026 win

The excellence and innovation took center stage as the RegenSeed Team from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria (USTP Claveria ) emerged as Champion during the Systemwide Pitching Competition Demo Day 2026, held at the ITB AVR, USTP Cagayan de Oro. Competing against representatives from eight campuses across the USTP System, the RegenSeed Team distinguished itself through a compelling presentation that showcased ingenuity, sustainability, and strong entrepreneurial potential.
Their winning pitch highlighted not only a promising concept but also the team’s cohesive collaboration and strategic vision, setting them apart from other contenders.
Adding to the team’s remarkable achievement, Mr. Rayver Quimada was recognized as the Most Valuable Pitcher (MVP) of the competition. His outstanding delivery, confidence, and mastery of the proposal earned praise from the panel of judges and solidified his role as a key driver of the team’s success. The victory was further strengthened by the steadfast mentorship and guidance of Mr. Renan Octavio and Mr. Rosewin L. Sevandal, CET Campus Coordinator, whose expertise and support played a vital role in refining the team’s pitch and preparing them for the competition.This milestone victory not only underscores the innovative spirit and academic excellence of USTP Claveria but also highlights the institution’s commitment to nurturing future-ready entrepreneurs and changemakers. The success of the RegenSeed Team serves as an inspiration to students across the university to pursue bold ideas and transformative solutions.
