USTP faculty association elects new officers for AY 2026–2027

The Federated USTP Faculty Association (FUSTPFA) held its election for new officers for the Academic Year 2026–2028 on February 20, 2026. The election took place both in person at the USTP Boardroom, Cagayan de Oro, and online via Zoom, to ensure inclusive participation among faculty members across campuses and strengthen leadership, representation, and collaboration within the USTP System.
The following officers were elected:
President: Engr. Ulrich Lee F. Uy, MSIT, PECE – CDO Campus
Vice-President: Prof. Casimero L. Icalina – Claveria Campus
Secretary: Dr. Josephine C. Visande – CDO Cam
Auditor: Mr. Greg C. Pegarro – Jasaan Campus
Public Information Officers (PIOs):
Engr. Mitchel Quimson Magsayo – Alubijid Campus
Mr. Jumar P. Amores – Balubal Campus
Mr. Melchor Jr. T. Allado – Claveria Campus
Engr. Abdul Halil II S. Abdullah – CDO Campus
Ms. Ma. Liberty B. Doncillo – Oroquieta Campus
Mr. Gizelle John M. Tacas-Tacas – Panaon Campus
Mr. Esjohol Lester Gimeno – Villanueva Campus
Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II, USTP System President, officiated the oath-taking ceremony with the Boards of Directors from the faculty associations of the CDO and Claveria campuses. Representatives from the satellite campuses of Alubijid, Balubal, Oroquieta, Panaon, Villanueva, and Jasaan were also present.
The successful election and oath-taking underscores FUSTPFA’s dedication to unified leadership, faculty empowerment, and ongoing collaboration throughout the USTP System.
