USTP Oroquieta, DynEd NEO partner to advance career-ready education

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta (USTP Oroquieta) launched the DynEd NEO Solution following a successful two-day training workshop held on February 12–13, 2026, at the JEEP Laboratory of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria (USTP Claveria). The training aimed to prepare faculty members for the integration of the NEO platform into the Job Enabling English Proficiency (JEEP) and Speech Laboratory programs. This initiative was designed to strengthen blended classroom instruction and equip participants with the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to effectively navigate and implement the DynEd NEO system.
Ms. Quimby Clavicillas and Ms. Marevel Caburnay represented USTP Oroquieta, alongside English faculty members from USTP Claveria, who actively participated in hands-on sessions focused on maximizing the platform’s features. The training was further enriched by insights from Ms. Maria Teresa Asunsion, Country Manager of Nexgen English Online Co., Philippines, who highlighted the program’s relevance in enhancing students’ English proficiency. She emphasized that strong communication skills remain a vital asset in improving graduates’ career readiness and overall workplace performance.
In addition to strengthening classroom instruction, the program is set to provide students with internationally recognized certificates aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This certification will allow students to benchmark their English proficiency against global standards, further increasing their competitiveness in both local and international job markets.
Through this initiative, USTP Oroquieta reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality, outcomes-based education by integrating innovative digital learning solutions into its academic programs. The campus continues to strengthen its mission of producing competent, globally competitive, and career-ready graduates equipped for the demands of today’s professional landscape.
