USTP Oroquieta faculty members elect as PATHESCU regional officers

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) proudly celebrates a remarkable achievement as two of its faculty members were elected to key regional positions during the recently concluded Regional General Assembly and Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Philippine Association for Technology in Home Economics of State Colleges and Universities, Inc. (PATHESCU, Inc.) held on February 28, 2026, via Zoom. Ms. Aler Pagente was elected as Region X Chairperson, while Ms. Maria Liberty Doncillo assumed the role of Region X Treasurer. Their election reflects the strong trust and confidence of fellow members in their leadership, dedication, and sustained contributions to advancing technology and home economics education across the region.
This milestone marks a proud moment for USTP Oroquieta, underscoring the campus’ growing influence and active engagement in professional organizations at the regional level. The recognition of Ms. Pagente and Ms. Doncillo affirms the university’s commitment to excellence in instruction, research, and community extension. Their assumption to office not only enhances the visibility of the campus in Region X but also highlights the caliber of its faculty as leaders and advocates of quality education in home economics and allied disciplines. The oath-taking ceremony formally signified their commitment to uphold the organization’s mission and strengthen collaboration among member institutions.
As a nonstock, nonprofit organization composed of home economists and practitioners affiliated with state colleges and universities, PATHESCU, Inc. continues to champion professional growth and institutional collaboration. Accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) provider, the organization remains steadfast in delivering relevant training, seminar-workshops, and extension initiatives. With strengthened leadership in Region X, now proudly represented by USTP Oroquieta, PATHESCU, Inc. moves forward with renewed vigor in advancing professional standards and impactful programs for 2026 and beyond.
