USTP Oroquieta welcomes USTP Balubal for COPC Benchmarking

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) welcomed USTP Balubal Campus on March 21, 2025, for the benchmark visit aimed to promote the exchange of best practices and align strategies between the two campuses to meet and exceed performance benchmarks for the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education program.
The event began with a comprehensive presentation on USTP Oroquieta’s journey in implementing COPC standards, highlighting their successes and lessons learned. This was followed by interactive discussions, allowing the visiting delegates to delve deeper into the intricacies of COPC guidelines and their practical applications in the program.
Dr. Glorimer L. Clarin, Acting Campus Director of USTP Oroquieta, expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “This benchmarking initiative reflects our shared commitment to delivering excellent service and operational efficiency across all USTP campuses.”
The visit concluded with a campus tour, allowing USTP Balubal representatives to observe the facilities. The event culminated in a collective pledge to implement insights gained and maintain the spirit of collaboration between the two campuses.
