The Office of the Campus Registrar of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Panaon, Misamis Occidental (USTP Panaon) actively participated in the USTP System Registrars’ Meeting. This significant event facilitated discussions on key administrative tasks essential for maintaining the university’s academic integrity and efficiency.

One of the primary objectives of the meeting was to update the Departmental Policies and Manuals (DPMs). These revisions, which were made with the aim to align institutional policies with current educational standards and best practices, will have a direct impact on the academic community, ensuring that academic procedures remain streamlined and responsive to the needs of students and faculty.

It’s worth noting that the submission of the notarized list of graduates for the Academic Year 2023-2024 was completed, marking a significant milestone. This official document serves as a formal certification of students who have fulfilled all academic and institutional requirements, reinforcing the credibility and integrity of USTP’s educational records to be submitted to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), as per PRC Resolution No. 2015-885.
Another crucial accomplishment during the meeting was updating the tentative list of graduating students for the 2nd Semester of the Academic Year 2024-2025. This process involved thoroughly verifying academic records, ensuring that students who applied for graduation have met all the requirements based on their respective curricula. This step is vital in preventing discrepancies and ensuring students receive their degrees immediately.
The meeting fostered a strong collaboration among registrars from different USTP campuses, underscoring a shared commitment to academic excellence and process efficiency. By participating in this crucial systemwide initiative, USTP Panaon reaffirms its dedication to upholding academic standards and ensuring a seamless transition for graduating students as they embark on their professional journeys.
