USTP Panaon participates as research presenter in the international interdisciplinary research summit 2025

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Panaon, Misamis Occidental (USTP Panaon) participated in the International Interdisciplinary Research Summit 2025: Sustainability, Innovation, and Technology in Higher Education, held on October 28–30, 2025, at Golden Peak Hotel and Suites, Cebu City, Philippines. Mr. Jan James G. Arañas, LPT, MPA, represented USTP and presented his research, which provided valuable insights aligned with the summit’s mission to promote transformative, innovative, and sustainable practices in higher education. Mr. Arañas was also honored with the Best Publishable Paper Award in the Social Science Track, recognizing the rigor, clarity, and real-world significance of his work.

Throughout the three-day event, Mr. Arañas actively joined discussions, interactive forums, and scholarly sessions that showcased emerging trends and critical challenges in the academic landscape. His study drew particular attention for its relevance to sustainability and community engagement topics that are vital in shaping more resilient and adaptive educational systems. With the summit incorporating IGI Global Publication, a respected international publisher with Scopus-indexed outputs, the event provided him the opportunity to elevate his work within a global research platform.

 In addition to his presentation, Jan James G. Arañas, LPT, MPA, collaborated with fellow researchers and panel evaluators, exchanging ideas and strengthening his academic network. The constructive feedback and professional engagements he experienced helped refine his research perspectives and enhanced his commitment to producing impactful scholarly work. His participation represented not only personal academic growth but also the continuous pursuit of research excellence within his institution.
