These USTP CDO student leaders are also accompanied by the three other delegates representing Region 10. Mr. Arao and Mr. Escabarte were elected as Primary Regional Convenor and Secondary Regional Convenor of the 13th National Youth Parliament. Their roles include serving as members of the Philippine Youth Development Plan Regional Inter-Agency Committee, where they will help shape next year’s Philippine Youth Development Plan for the next two years.
The Parliament also allowed delegates to engage with fellow youth parliamentarians nationwide, exchanging perspectives on governance, policy development, and youth empowerment. They took part in the first day’s discussions on youth issues, parliamentary procedures, and the Philippine Youth Development Plan, reinforcing the Parliament’s commitment to strengthening civic participation and highlighting the youth’s vital role in nation-building.
This milestone reflects USTP’s dedication to developing informed, responsible, and community-centered leaders who contribute to the country’s progress, aligning with SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, which promotes inclusive decision-making and youth participation in governance.
