The USTP System President, Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II, together with representatives from the University of the Philippines (UP), the Batangas State University (BATSU), and the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU), has embarked on the 2024 Innovation Study Mission from April 19 to 24, 2024, to explore various engineering sectors and digital industries in the 2024 Hannover Messe in Germany.

The study mission was organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in collaboration with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) with the theme, “TA9079-PHI: Strengthening Social Protection, Education, and Health Reforms Facility.” The undertaking is essential to acquire vital information and substantial connections to support the Philippines’ “mindfacturing” strategy, Industry 4.0 Pilot Factory and Center for AI Research plans, and innovation-led industrial transformation.

Through this immersion in Germany’s leading-edge industrial innovation, Dr. Cultura is poised to create new opportunities that will drive further growth in the University, focusing on emerging and frontier technologies, developing partnerships, and gaining insights into the dynamics of the global market, all of which are crucial for the University’s future development.
