USTP System President unanimously re-elected as NorMinCIEERD Chairperson

On May 17, 2024, USTP System President Dr. Ambrosio B. Cultura II, who had served as chairperson since 2021, was re-elected for a second term with unanimous support from the attending governing board members of the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (NorMinCIEERD).

The NorMinCIEERD convened at the New Dawn Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City for the first Governing Board meeting and General Assembly for 2024.
The agenda included a presentation on the status of submitted concept R&D proposals to the 2024 Call Conference, PCIEERD funding programs, a workshop on preparing a full-blown proposal, a summary of completed PCIEERD-funded R&D projects and collated large industry researchable areas.
