USTP to host 21st PACUIT National and 6th International Research Conference

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Cagayan de Oro (USTP CDO) will serve as the venue for the 21st Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities of Industrial Technology (PACUIT) National and 6th International Research Conference, scheduled for November 13 to 15, 2025.
The conference, themed “Driving Sustainable and Resilient Industrial Transformation: A Global Industry 5.0 Approach Through Smart Technologies,” is designed to provide a leading platform for researchers, faculty members, graduate students, industry leaders, government representatives, and innovators to exchange knowledge and establish collaborations that promote human-centric and sustainable industrial development.
PACUIT 2025 emphasizes the importance of research and innovation in addressing practical challenges and advancing sustainable development. The conference also aims to reinforce partnerships among industry, academia, and government, and to facilitate networking among educators, researchers, and policymakers dedicated to industrial transformation.

The three-day conference will include plenary sessions, paper presentations, industry networking events, panel discussions, fireside chats and benchmarking activities. These components are intended to offer participants a comprehensive and internationally relevant learning experience.
Research presentations will address six primary thematic areas:
- Engineering, ICT, and Emerging Technologies for Sustainable and Resilient Industries
- Smart Technologies and Climate Change Mitigation in Industrial Processes
- Food Safety and Security Innovations through Industry 5.0 Principles
- Human-Centered Design and Innovation in Industrial Arts and Crafts
- Innovations in Industrial Technology Education for the Industry 5.0 Workforce
- Circular Economy and Materials Innovation
PACUIT 2025 is organized by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities of Industrial Technology (PACUIT), Inc., in partnership with Bulacan State University (BulSU) and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP).
