USTP TPCO earns top spots at 3rd LIKHA Conference 2025

The Technology Promotion and Commercialization Office (TPCO) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines System (USTP System) achieved a remarkable success at the 3rd LIKHA Conference, with the theme “Shaping Tomorrow: Leveraging Innovation and Research for Sustainable Futures,” held from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at the Caraga State University, Butuan City.
Led by the USTP System TPCO Director Dr. Venessa A. Garcia, the team excelled in innovation and research communication, earning 1st place in the Poster Competition and 3rd place in the Pitching Competition.
Their SDG-driven poster showcased forward-thinking research aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, Ms. Rhea Suzette Haguisan, Manager of the TPCO Business Development Unit, delivered an impressive pitch that secured USTP’s position among the top contenders.
Dr. Garcia’s leadership and Ms. Haguisan’s strong presentation demonstrate USTP’s continued commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sustainability. These achievements reaffirm the University’s dedication to fostering a culture of research excellence and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
