USTP Villanueva participates at PHIVIDEC-IA Open House Year 3

In attaining industry-academic collaboration, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental (USTP Villanueva) participates in the Philippine Veterans Investment Development Corporation – Industrial Authority (PHIVIDEC-IA) Open House Year 3 at Administration Building, PHIVIDEC-IA Complex, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, on March 25-27, 2026.
USTP Villanueva Campus Director Prof. Colbert G. Rabaya, along with several faculty and staff, witnessed the ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the three-day event, symbolizing the strong partnership between PHIVIDEC-IA and its locators, including USTP Villanueva. Adding solemnity to the occasion, the USTP Villanueva Chorale led the convocation and the singing of the National Anthem.
The PHIVIDEC Open House showcases the products of its locators to attract more investors to locate at the Phividec Industrial Estate. These locators are businesses, corporations and private to public companies and offices including Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) like USTP Villanueva. The Open House also serves as recognition to their partners in their contribution to the sustainability and development of the society, thus also allowing them to socialize and connect to further enhance and strengthen partnerships.
