Center for Human Development Studies

The Center for Human Development Studies, covering policy, culture and creative studies, will be the harmonizing division of the University in advancing human development. It will be a programmatic and thematic Center that will focus issues, among others, poverty, Gender and Development, Sustainable Development, social inclusion and exclusion, education, economic growth and development, multisectoral governance, environment and development, conflict resolution, peace and development.
The Center will be:

  • The lead lens, via research and other collaborative engagements, in understanding contemporary issues affecting societal growth and development
  • The avenue for meaningful engagements in empowering vulnerable communities for localized and glocalized socio-economic interventions
