CHED-X visits USTP Oroquieta for Systemwide Program Monitoring Activity

From February 28 to March 1, 2024, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region X, led by Dr. Freddie T. Bernal, CHED Regional Director, visited the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) for a Systemwide Program Monitoring Activity.
The purpose of the visit was to monitor compliance with CHED’s policies, standards, and guidelines and alignment with the current educational reforms.
Together with Dr. Bernal is the CHED-X team composed of Dr. Meriam B. Fuentes, Ms. Sarah M. Libre, Mr. Mark Godfrey D. Torres, Ms. Rose Mae T. Lumasag, Mr. Jay Loinie Duplito, and Mr. Daryl Glenn Pamplona.
CHED conducts monitoring activity across the USTP System to evaluate the issuance of the institution’s Certificate of Program Compliance through its mandated instruction, research, and extension functions.
USTP Oroquieta, as part of the USTP System, recognizes the importance of the activity in maintaining the system’s integrity and providing quality education by strengthening its flagship programs.
