USTP Balubal gains new facilities through Eagles Club donation initiative

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Balubal, Cagayan de Oro (USTP Balubal) formally received a donation of four tents from the Grand CdeO Eagles Club and the Grand CdeO Lady Eagles Group on April 19, 2026, through the initiative “Tulong Agila sa Edukasyon.” The turnover ceremony, held at the USTP Balubal Campus, highlighted the University’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with civic organizations to enhance campus resources and improve the learning environment.
The event was attended by campus officials, faculty, and staff, along with members of the donor organizations, reflecting a shared commitment to community engagement and support for education.
Acting Campus Director Dr. Dennis A. Apuan and Head of Academic Affairs Dr. Bernalyn Grace C. Alvarez formally accepted the donation and expressed appreciation for the continued support extended to the campus. They emphasized that such partnerships contribute to strengthening institutional capacity and delivering quality services to students and the wider community. The donor organizations were represented by Eagle Rowell A. Ulfato and Lady Eagle Mary Grace C. Kumar, together with their members, reaffirming their commitment to supporting educational institutions through sustainable and impactful initiatives.
A key highlight of the activity was the signing of the Deed of Donation and Acceptance, signifying a shared commitment to ensure the proper use and management of the donated resources. The agreement further reinforces accountability and collaboration between the University and its partners.
Through initiatives such as this, USTP Balubal continues to demonstrate its role as a community-driven institution, fostering partnerships that contribute to a more responsive and supportive educational environment.
