USTP Claveria emerges as overall champion at 14th FASMin Congress

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), through its College of Agriculture, emerged as Overall Champion at the 14th FASMin Congress held on April 6–10, 2026, at Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) in Tangub City, marking a significant achievement for the campus.
The congress brought together agricultural students from various institutions to compete in events showcasing skills, innovation, and resilience. Amid strong competition, USTP Claveria demonstrated excellence across crop-based, animal-based, and literary competitions.
The recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of the students, whose performance highlights the quality of agricultural education at the University. The event also served as a platform for participants to present practical solutions addressing food security and climate-related challenges.
The achievement was made possible through the collective efforts of students, faculty, and the entire USTP Claveria community. Faculty mentors played a key role in guiding the participants, while students demonstrated commitment and discipline throughout their preparation and performance.
