USTP Oroquieta faculty elected to PATHESCU Board

Ms. Aler L. Pagente, a faculty member of the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) Program at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta), was elected as a Member of the Board of the Philippine Association for Technology of Home Economics of State Colleges and Universities (PATHESCU), Inc. during the 27th PATHESCU Annual National Conference held on July 16–18, 2026, at Zuri Hotel in Iloilo City.
The annual conference brought together educators, researchers, and academic leaders from state colleges and universities nationwide to discuss emerging developments, exchange best practices, and strengthen collaboration in technology and home economics education.
PATHESCU is a national professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in instruction, research, extension, and professional collaboration among technology and home economics educators in state colleges and universities.
Ms. Pagente’s election recognizes her contributions to the field and provides USTP Oroquieta with representation in the organization’s national leadership. Her appointment also reflects the University’s continued support for faculty engagement in professional organizations that advance academic excellence and higher education.
