Elevating Tomorrow's Teachers: PAFE hosts training for future educators

The Prime Association of Future Educators (PAFE) of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Oroquieta, Misamis Occidental (USTP Oroquieta) hosted a training session for 3rd and 4th year education students from various majors on February 24, 2024, at the USTP Oroquieta Covered Court. The Teaching Readiness for Deployment and Finding Transformative Success event aims to equip students with essential skills and insights for their future teaching careers.

One of the highlights of the training was the presence of Ms. Gigi O. Ricafort, a highly esteemed Filipina educator based in Vietnam. Ms. Ricafort is the Summer English Intensive Curricular Coordinator and Head of Kindergarten and Primary School at the Vietnam Australia International School—Sala Mega Campus. Through her captivating presentation, she shared her experience and expertise with the workshop and left a profound drive for excellence among the attendees.

The feedback from the participants served as a testament to the event’s resounding success. Students expressed heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable opportunity to glean insights from Ms. Ricafort. They described the session as enlightening, enjoyable, and memorable, leaving them with enriched perspectives on teaching readiness and success.
