USTP architecture faculty serves as international judge for QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) continues to gain international recognition in Higher Education excellence in teaching as Dr. Adolph Vincent E. Vigor, Associate Professor V of the Architecture Department, College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), has been selected as an International Judge for the QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) Reimagine Education Awards 2026. QS Quacquarelli Symonds is a globally recognized higher education analytics, rankings, and insights organization headquartered in the United Kingdom. It is best known for publishing the annual QS World University Rankings, one of the most influential university ranking systems worldwide.

Often referred to as the “Oscars of Education,” the QS Reimagine Education Awards recognizes and celebrates groundbreaking innovations that improve learning outcomes, graduate employability, sustainability, educational technology, and institutional transformation. The competition attracts submissions from universities, educational institutions, researchers, startups, and innovators from around the globe.

As part of the international judging panel, Dr. Vigor will participate in the independent evaluation of educational innovations and initiatives submitted by institutions and organizations worldwide. Judges are selected by QS based on their expertise and professional accomplishments and play a critical role in identifying transformative educational practices that shape the future of learning.

This appointment reflects both a personal professional milestone and a significant achievement for USTP, highlighting the University’s growing contribution to global academic excellence, research, innovation, and educational transformation.

Notably, this international appointment follows Dr. Vigor’s previous recognition in the QS Reimagine Education Awards through his research on Spatial Intelligence in Architectural Education, further strengthening USTP’s presence in the global educational innovation community.
