A vibrant display of unity, school pride, and sportsmanship marked the Intramurals 2026 Parade of the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) on September 14, 2026, as students, athletes, faculty, and staff gathered to officially kick off this year’s campus sports celebration. The parade brought together the participating teams and units in a colorful procession featuring creative presentations, team colors, banners, and spirited cheers. The activity transformed the streets surrounding the campus into a showcase of enthusiasm and camaraderie among members of the USTP-Claveria community.
More than a ceremonial opening, the parade emphasized the values that underpin the university’s sports programs—teamwork, discipline, respect, fair play, and unity. The participation of students, athletes, faculty, and staff likewise demonstrated the collective support of the university community for sports development and student engagement.
The opening activity set the tone for the series of athletic competitions and related events that will highlight the Intramurals 2026 celebration, providing participants opportunities to demonstrate their skills while strengthening friendship and camaraderie.
As the competitions commence, participating teams are expected to uphold the principles of integrity, respect, fair play, and sportsmanship, reflecting the values of USTP beyond the playing field. With unity as its foundation and sportsmanship as its guiding principle, Intramurals 2026 officially gets underway at USTP Claveria.
