USTP Claveria conducts “YAKAP at ALAGA” orientation and registration for employees

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria) conducted the “YAKAP at ALAGA: Orientation and Registration” for regular and non-regular faculty members, together with support personnel, on May 25, 2026, at the Function Hall, Administration Building, following the Convocation Program. The activity aimed to provide participants with essential information and guidance regarding the YAKAP at ALAGA initiative while strengthening employee welfare, wellness, and institutional care within the university community.
Faculty and staff members actively participated in the orientation and registration process as part of the university’s continuing efforts to promote employee engagement and workplace well-being.
University officials emphasized the importance of fostering a supportive and healthy working environment where employees feel valued, heard, and cared for. The program also highlighted the institution’s commitment to promoting inclusivity, compassion, and collaboration among teaching and non-teaching personnel. The activity served as an avenue to strengthen the culture of care and support within the university while encouraging employees to take part in programs that promote wellness and professional development.
