USTP Claveria graduates 238 dairy farm assistants

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), through its Institute of Continuing Education and Training (ICET), recognized 238 graduates of its Dairy Farm Assistantship Program during a closing ceremony held on July 3, 2026.
The graduates completed the industry-focused training program designed to develop the practical skills and work values needed for employment in the local and international dairy industry.
Craig Musson, Managing Director of the National Trade Academy in Christchurch, New Zealand, served as guest speaker and encouraged the graduates to pursue continuous learning and adapt to changes in the industry.
“Continue learning. The course has taught you how to learn. Adopt a mindset of continuous innovation,” he said.
He also highlighted opportunities in the dairy industry, describing it as a modern and evolving field with career prospects in the Philippines and abroad.
Representing the graduates, Blen D’Life Famador of Batch 84 reflected on their experiences throughout the training and encouraged her fellow graduates to move forward with confidence as they begin their careers.
Following the response, Jovie Artuz of Batch 76 led the Graduates’ Pledge, affirming the trainees’ commitment to professionalism, ethical practice, and continuous learning. The ceremony concluded with the graduates’ performance of Today My Life Begins.
University officials, trainers, graduates, and their families attended the ceremony to mark the completion of the training program.
Through the Dairy Farm Assistantship Program, USTP Claveria provides industry-focused training that prepares participants with practical competencies and work values for employment in the dairy sector.
