It was a proud moment for the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines in Claveria, Misamis Oriental (USTP Claveria), as students made a remarkable feat in the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges’ National Culture and Arts Festival (PASUC NCAF) 2024, hosted at the Philippine Normal University in Manila on April 23-25, 2024.

Among the myriad universities and colleges from different regions across the Philippines, Jasper Ian Basco of USTP Claveria, representing Region X,  showcased his creativity and skills as he clinched gold in the On-the-Spot Poster Making Competition. He is a dedicated student pursuing a BS in Agricultural Biosystems Engineering (BSABE).  His work, “Bidlisiw: Paghilum, Pagbangon, Pagsulong,” captivated judges with its powerful symbolism and artistic execution. The poster will be featured for the upcoming events of PASUC’s promotional materials.
