In its continuous pursuit to bring its programs, research, innovation, and other offerings to the international arena, the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) joins the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Schools’ Network.

As a regional inter-governmental organization established among Southeast Asian countries, SEAMEO takes pride in its achievements as Southeast Asia’s leading organization in promoting regional cooperation and human resource development in education, science, and culture.

As part of the contribution to the Southeast Asian community and in celebration of SEAMEO’s 55th Anniversary, SEAMEO initiated the project entitled SEAMEO Schools’ Network 2020.

The project aims to serve as a Network of Sharing and Development platform among public and private educational institutions in 11 Southeast Asian countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam). It is expected that the Network could further build and strengthen the multilateral collaboration on education, science, and culture in the rapidly changing world.

By joining the Network, USTP hopes to strengthen its international relations and make its mark as a Science and Technology university in the international arena.
