USTP Panaon conducted its Strategic Planning last April 21-22, 2022, at the Villa Tagalog Beach Resort and the USTP Training Center in Panaon, Misamis Occidental. The annual planning aimed to revisit the different set targets for FY 2022 and evaluate whether the service units and departments have already accomplished the said targets. It also desired to identify and set priorities for the opening of FY 2023.

During the strategic planning, different stakeholders showed their undying support for all the current and future endeavors of USTP Panaon. Mr. Edralin T. Sombrio, Barangay Punta Chairperson, together with Ms. Emelyn M. Putis, Human Resource and Management Office (HRMO) Head of the Local Government Unit in Panaon; Mr. Ding Gilmar Subsuban, OIC-National Bangus Breeding Farm District Fishery Technician of District 1, Misamis Occidental and USTP Panaon Alumni President; and Mr. Mardie C. Comique, USTP Panaon Student Council President, shared their thoughts on how to strengthen the bond between them and USTP Panaon through seamless collaboration. Service units then revisited set targets for FY 2022 to assess the current accomplishment of the campus.

Part of the activities on the second day was identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT), identifying projects and program priorities for FY 2023, and preparing the local calendar of activities and service unit OPCR.

The strategic planning paves the way for collecting ideas and concrete plans for the USTP Panaon’s operation to serve its clientele better.

The two-day activity was participated by all regular faculty and staff of USTP Panaon, headed by Dr. Leny Q. Anasco, Acting Campus Director.
