USTP Panaon sends SSC President to PACSA 2023

The University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) in Panaon, Misamis Occidental sent Ms. Ela B. Hayagan, Supreme Student Council President of USTP Panaon, to the 42nd Annual National Convention for Campus Advisers and 26th Annual National Convention for Student Leaders last March 8–11, 2023, at the Baguio Teachers’ Camp in Baguio City.

Hayagan was joined by 15 other student leaders and 4 advisers from the USTP System. The convention was attended by 844 advisers and students from more than 80 schools in Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, and the National Capital Region (NCR).

This year’s theme, “Connectivity 2023: L.E.A.D. Through Borderless Community,” aims to provide chances for the development of the skills, talents, and potential of campus advisers, student leaders, and the youth sector for them to become effective and efficient agents of global transformation.

Hayagan shares her account of the conference,

“PACSA conference is a tremendous chance for me. I’m grateful to the entire USTP community and USTP Panaon for their encouragement and belief in my abilities to do the challenge. Yes, I want to let everyone know that this is a significant experience for me. I’m very honored to be a Trailblazer.”
