USTP's World IP Day celebration

The Technology Promotions and Commercialization Office (TPCO), in partnership with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), will be hosting the USTP’s World IP Day celebration on April 26, 2023, with the theme “Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity.”

Check out the following activities:

KaIPhan – A short plenary session that talks about the value of innovation, Intellectual Property management and Technology transfer, and the USTP’s way forward towards innovation success.
IP Industrial Design Contest – This will feature the novel technological industrial designs of the students and faculty that has potential value for commercialization through its aesthetic features.
IP Hugot Lines/IP Slogan Contest – This will strengthen IP awareness among the university through catchy and easy to remember thoughts and concepts of IP.
Short Film Contest – This will showcase the creative and artistic works of our students in expressing their thoughts on the importance of IP through visual representation or short movies. (This requires 1 entry per college)

The outputs of these competitions will be showcased through exhibits during the World IP Day celebration and the winners will be announced during the event.
